TIPS PLATFORM USERS AGREEMENT
Terms of Use

Welcome to TIPS! These terms of use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TIPS (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Account Registration

• 1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to open an account and use on the Platform. Users below 15 years require parental consent/guidance.
• 1.2 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. User Content

• 2.1 You agree to use the Platform in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• 2.2 You may not post content that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, offensive, or violates any third-party rights.
• 2.3 You may not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Platform.
• 2.4 You may not use the Platform for any post or financial dealings that is deemed illegal by the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

3. Content Ownership

• 3.1 You retain ownership (liabilities) of the content you post on the Platform.
• 3.2 By posting content, you grant a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content.

4. Privacy Policy

• 4.1 Our Privacy Policy, available here, explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

• 5.1 The Platform and its content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not modify, reproduce, or distribute any content on the Platform without the owner’s permission.

6. Termination

• 6.1 TIPS may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

• 7.1 The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

• 8.1 TIPS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

9. Governing Law

• 9.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
